Introduction
This user manual is for the NETGEAR Nighthawk
®
WiFi 7 Tri-Band Router Model RS300
and Model RS280.
Model RS300 supports WiFi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) with a combined WiFi speed of up to
9.3 Gbps and tri-band concurrent radio operation:
•
2.4 GHz radio: Supports IEEE 802.11 n/ac/ax/be with 4096-QAM, 20/40 MHz channel
width, and a speed of up to 0.7 Gbps
•
5 GHz radio: Support IEEE 802.11 n/ac/ax/be with 4096-QAM, 20/40/80/160 MHz
channel width, and a speed of up to 2.9 Gbps
•
6 GHz radio: Supports IEEE 802.11 ax/be with 4096-QAM, 20/40/80/160/320 MHz
channel width, and a speed of up to 5.8 Gbps
Model RS280 supports WiFi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) with a combined WiFi speed of up to
9.2 Gbps and tri-band concurrent radio operation:
•
2.4 GHz radio: Supports IEEE 802.11 n/ac/ax/be with 1024-QAM, 20/40 MHz channel
width, and a speed of up to 0.6 Gbps
•
5 GHz radio: Support IEEE 802.11 n/ac/ax/be with 4096-QAM, 20/40/80/160 MHz
channel width, and a speed of up to 2.9 Gbps
•
6 GHz radio: Supports IEEE 802.11 ax/be with 4096-QAM, 20/40/80/160/320 MHz
channel width, and a speed of up to 5.8 Gbps
Both routers provide one 2.5GbE Internet port for cable and fiber ISP connections up
to 2.5 Gbps, two 2.5GbE LAN ports for connection to high-speed LAN devices, and two
1 Gigabit LAN ports.
