Write down the generated PIN.
On the access point or router that you have selected, log in to the router or access
point, then follow the prompts to enter the adapter’s PIN.
The router will connect to the adapter.

“Smart Wizard Status Bar” on page 1-11.
Creating a Profile
The WNDA3100v2 Smart Wizard uses profiles to store all the settings for a particular wireless
network. There are three special profile names: Default, Profile, and New Profile.
•Default.Your wireless-N USB adapter connects to any network. It automatically tries to
connect to the first wireless network without security that it finds.
Profile. If you save a profile but do not type a name in the Profiles field, the name Profile is
used to save your settings. If you do this more than once, you are asked if you want to replace
the previous settings stored in Profile.

Note: The adapter security is set to WPA-PSK [TKIP]. Some WPS routers support
WPA2-PSK [AES], with the same SSID and passphrase. You can change the
adapter to WPA2-PSK [AES] using the Security setting in the Settings screen.
