Electrodes and Electrode Care
5. After repeated use the electrodes lose their stickiness. Dampen the surface of the
electrodes with water by running two ngers under a tap then wiping across the electrode
a couple of times and then leave for a few seconds to dry. This rehydrates the electrode and
also removes any debris from the surface. If this is not successful in restoring the stickiness,
replace the electrodes.
Electrodes should also be replaced if they become worn, pitted, damaged or
contaminated.
A pair of electrodes should last about three to four weeks of daily use.
Replacing electrodes regularly helps to prevent skin irritation.
