8 Check the battery level and number of exposures remaining.
Press the R button and check the battery level and
number of exposures remaining.
In the case of exposures
remaining, values over 1000 are shown in thousands,
indicated by the letter “k”.
9 Focus the viewfinder.
After removing the lens cap, rotate the diopter
adjustment control until the AF area brackets are
in sharp focus.
When operating the control with
your eye to the viewfinder, be careful not to put
your fingers or fingernails in your eye.
