Connecting a Camera Head
The DS-U2 is applicable for eight models of camera heads listed below.
The control unit (DS-U2) mode is automatically switched by changing the camera head.
DS-Fi1 5-megapixel CCD / color / non-cooled
DS-5M 5-megapixel CCD / color / non-cooled
DS-5Mc 5-megapixel CCD / color / cooled
DS-2Mv 2-megapixel CCD / color / non-cooled

Installing Application Software
To operate the DS-U2, an application software must be installed in the PC connected to the DS-U2
via a USB interface.
To use the NIS-Elements freeware package, insert the enclosed CD-ROM in the PC and install it in
the following procedures.
