  The Nikon Camera Accessories might not be powering on due to several reasons: * The AC adapter might not be properly connected. Ensure the DC output cable of the AC adapter is connected to the 12VDC IN connector of the DS-L3. * The power supply cord might be incorrectly connected to the AC adapter. Use the correct power supply cord to plug the AC inlet of the AC adapter into the AC outlet. * The power switch might be off. Press the power switch to turn the DS-L3 on; press it again to turn it off.

  If images are not showing on the embedded monitor of your Nikon Camera Accessories, check the following: * Ensure the DS camera head is securely connected. Turn off the DS-L3, then use the DS camera cable to connect the Camera Out connector of the DS camera head to the Camera connector of the DS-L3. * Verify that the C mount cap is removed from the DS camera head. * Confirm that the subject image is correctly positioned for capture. * Ensure the optical path of the optical device is correctly set on the camera side. * Check that the illumination and exposure settings of the optical device are appropriate for the subject.

  If you've connected an external monitor and the embedded monitor on your Nikon Camera Accessories isn't displaying images, the embedded monitor display might be turned off. To resolve this, change the setting of the [DISPLAY MODE] button in [INTERNAL LCD] within the [SETUP MENU : MAIN] window.

  Your Nikon Camera Accessories might be turning off automatically because the Power Save Timer is activated. If no button is pressed for a set time, the system enters standby mode. Any action will bring it out of standby. You can adjust the auto power save setting in the [SETUP MENU: ADDITIONAL] window.

If you notice an unusual odor, such as a burning smell, immediately turn off the power, disconnect the AC adapter, and request repairs.
