SELF-TIMER

While pressing the lock release, set
the film advance mode/self-timer
selector to V (self-timer) position.

Compose picture, lightly press shut-
ter release button, and confirm focus
and exposure.
With all auto exposure modes, use
the eyepiece shutter before starting
the self-timer to prevent stray light
from entering the viewfinder and
affecting the exposure.
