Transmitter power
If the transmitter is set to a state of low emitted power, a range test can be
done. A test with limited power and short distance simulates a full range test
with full power. The 2.4Ghz transmitter signal is subject to inuence by it
environment. For example in a wide open area, the control distance is perhaps
30 meters, while inside a house it is perhaps only 6 meters. Always perform a
range test.
How to perform a range test:
1. Put the model on the ground and step about 30 meters away from the
model.
2. put the transmitter in the low power state
3. all functions on the model must be fully controllable with the trainer switch
activated.
3D switch protection.
If the transmitter is activated and the 3D switch is still activated, an alarm
will sound and on the LCD “3d” will be displayed. Put the 3d switch back in its
normal position.
Throttle hold switch protection.
If the transmitter is activated and the throttle hold switch is still activated, an
alarm will sound and on the LCD “TH” will be displayed. Put the Throttle Hold
switch back in its normal position.
Binding with the receiver
Transmitter and receiver come factory synchronised when bought together
in asset. Every time you use a new transmitter or receiver, it is necessary to
synchronize the receiver with the transmitter .
Remark: make sure there is no other transmitter activated while binding.
Instructions:
Turn off both transmitter and receiver. Push the trainer switch towards the front
and hold it there while activating the transmitter. On the LCD ‘SH’ ashes and
an acoustic signal is released. Turn on the receiver and keep the transmitter
near the receiver. After a few seconds, the servos connected to the transmitter
will make start making small movements, indicating that the binding procedure
has succeeded.
Switching between mode 1 and Mode 2
You can change the mode of the J6 transmitter by operation just one switch.
Turn off the transmitter and remove the small cover on the back of the trans-
mitter. Move the mode switch to the other position and put the cover back
in place. All functions that occur in mode 1 and Mode 2 will have changed,
including the spring mechanism. The new chosen mode will appear on the LCD
‚mode1 or mode2)
Remark:
1.Always move the switch to the utmost positions, never leave it in between.
2. Make sure the transmitter is turned off when changing the mode
Trim memory
Description Steps to follow Instructions
With this function, the trim of
the elevator channel, rudder
channel en aileron channel can
be set. The transmitter will save
the trim positions.
1. Turn on the transmitter
2. Press the A-button for 1 second and the “NOR REV” symbol and “123456” symbol will start ashing.
3. turn the D-knob until the trim indicators of aileron, rudder and elevator start ashing.
4. Press the A-button or the C-button. Only one indicator keeps on ashing.
5. Use the D-knob in order to select the desired trim channel.
6. press the A-button or the C-button in order to conrm.
7. Use the D-knob to set the trim
8. Press the C-button to save
9. press the B-button to go back in the menu.
The values of the sub trim functions may vary
from -100% to +100%
Throttle Hold
Description Steps to follow Instructions
The throttle hold function can
be set, according to your own
needs. The value is a percent-
age of the throttle value and
varies between 0% and 100%
1. Turn on the transmitter
2. Press the A-button for 1 second and the “NOR REV” symbol and “123456” symbol will start ashing.
3. turn the D-knob until “G H” ashes.
4. Press the A-button or C-button . The 3 digits on the throttle indicator will ash.
5. With knob D, you can change the value of the throttle hold function. (By pressing the A-button, the
factory settings will be restored)
6. Press the C-button to save
7. press the B-button to go back in the menu.
Range test
Description Steps to follow Instructions
This function allows you to di-
minish the output power of the
transmitter temporarily in order
to perform a range check.
1. Turn on the transmitter
2. Simultaneously press the A-button and B-button for one second. On the LCD screen the “MODE”
-icon and the “Modeltype” Icon” (helicopter or airplane) will start ashing.
3.Turn knob D until “P-H” or “P-L” ashes
4. Press the A-button or C-button and “P” on the screen will be steady
5. Use Knob D to switch from H (high power) to L (low power)
6. Press the C-button to save
7. press the B-button to go back in the menu.
“You can diminish the transmitters output power
temporarily
(L) = Low
(H)= High
The normal setting is “”H”” Pay attention, never
to y your helicopter or airplanes when the
power has been diminished. A tone will sound
when the transmitted power is set to LOW, in
order to warn you. Every time you restart the
transmitter, it will automatically restore to the
High power output
Wireless copy
Description Steps to follow Instructions
The transmitters , allows to
exchange its data with other
transmitters of the same brand
and type,
1. Turn on the transmitter
2. Simultaneously press the A-button and B-button for one second. On the LCD screen the “MODE”
-icon and the “Modeltype” Icon” (helicopter or airplane) will start ashing.
3. Turn the D-Knob until “C P” ashes.
4. Press the A-button or C-button to conrm
5. Use the D-Knob to choose between A or S
6. Press the C-button in order to start sending or retrieving data.
7. While copying, “-----------” is displayed on the LCD
8. press the B-button to go back in the menu.
9. Proceed the same way, if you want to copy data to another transmitter.
(A) = Receive a copy
(5) = Send a copy
Make sure that both transmitters are next to
each other.
Always check if the new copy is complete. Never
y if you are not sure.
