3. Always put the small cover back in place, so an accidental mode change is
excluded.
Power saving
The transmitter will go into a state of low power consumption if the sticks are
untouched for more than 5 minutes.
After more than 30 seconds of inactivity, the backlight of the LCD screen will
be turned off.
If the battery voltage is too low, the battery indicator on the LCD will  ash.
Replace the batteries immediately in order to avoid a crash.
Communication protocol
This transmitter is compatible with receivers that use the old communications
protocol. After changing the communication protocol, a new binding procedure
is always required.
Instructions:
Turn of the transmitter, activated the throttle hold switch and hold down the
trainer switch and the A-button while turning on the transmitter again. On the
display, the actual protocol will  ash.
A-1: new protocol, which supports the wireless copy function
A-0: old protocol which is limited to 4 channels and supports no wireless copy.
You can switch between the protocols using the D/R switch SW(E).
Stick calibration
In some cases (eg after replacing a stick or pot meter) it is necessary to recali-
brate the sticks.
Instructions:
Turn off the transmitter and simultaneously press the A,B and C-Button for two
seconds. You will now enter the calibration menu, where the black trim outlines
on the LCD are  ashing. Move the sticks around in circles and next put them
back in their neutral position. Press the B button in order to con rm. If no cor-
rection was necessary, leave the sticks untouched for more than 5 seconds and
the transmitter will automatically return without changing the calibration.
Factory settings
With this function, all factory settings will be restored.
Instructions:
Turn off the transmitter, simultaneously press the A,B and C- button and switch
on the transmitter. On the screen, ‘RST’ appears. By releasing these three
buttons, the factory settings will be restored.
Trainer functions
This function allows to connect two transmitters by a cable for training pur-
poses.
The student has control over the model as long as the teacher hold the trainer
switch down. The function must be initialized as described below.
Instructions:
Turn off both transmitters. Turn on the student transmitter and connect it with
the cable. Plug the cable in the teachers transmitter and turn the teachers
transmitter on. On the teachers LCD the identi cation of the student appears.
As long as the teacher holds the trainer switch, the student has control over
the model. Remark that it is the teachers transmitter that must be binded with
the receiver.
If multiple transmitters are active at the same moment, follow the procedure
below:
Turn on the transmitter before activating the receiver en make sure their
distance is less than 1 meter. Connect the battery to the receiver en check
every single function on the transmitter and on the model. Servos should move
smooth and without any interference.
