Assembly of the pitcher involves placing the motor base on a clean, dry, level surface, then aligning and lowering the pitcher onto the motor base, rotating it clockwise until it locks securely in place. The Stacked Blade Assembly is then placed onto the gear shaft inside the pitcher. Ingredients are added, ensuring they do not exceed the maximum fill lines. The lid is then placed on top, aligning the arrows and pressing the handle down until it clicks, indicating it's locked. Once assembled, the power cord is plugged in, and the power button is pressed to activate the unit. The power button will illuminate solid when the blender is ready for use, flashing if components are not correctly installed.
For single-serve blending, the Nutri Ninja Cups are used with the Pro Extractor Blades® Assembly. Ingredients are added to the cup, the blade assembly is twisted on until sealed, and the cup is inverted onto the motor base, twisting clockwise until it clicks into place. The power button is pressed, and then the NUTRI NINJA® button is selected to initiate the nutrient extraction cycle, which runs automatically for 60 seconds. Alternatively, the PULSE button can be used for short bursts.
During operation, if ingredients stick to the sides of the pitcher or cup, the appliance should be stopped, the blade assembly removed (for cups) or the lid removed (for pitchers), and a scraper or spatula used to dislodge the ingredients.
