Text messages
• Note: This function is operational only if the local network supports
it. Check it with your service provider.
Read messages
1 Press Menu to enter the Messages menu.
2 Press Select to enter the Inbox submenu.
3 Press Select again to view the Inbox submenu.
4 Use the and keys to scroll through messages you have
received. Use Read to open a message.
5 With Options you can enter a list of options (Erase, Reply,
Edit, Use number, Forward, Details).
6 With and keys you can scroll through those options.
7 Press OK to select an option.
8 Press Back to go to the previous menu level.
• Note: The Edit option may not be available if the message
received was written using a keymap that does not exist in
your phone. (The keymaps vary according to the languages
available in your phone.)
Writing and sending a message
1 Press Menu to enter the Messages menu.
2 Press Select to enter the Write Messages submenu.
3 After you have written the message, press Options.
4 Press Send, OK if you wish to send the message.
5 Or press Clear to erase the message letter by letter. If you
press and hold Clear you can clear the whole display.
6 Key in the recipient’s phone number or search for it from the
Phone Book, press OK to send the message.
