5. Menu functions
The menu functions described in the following pages allow you to
tailor the phone’s functions to make them more suitable for your
own use. With the menus and submenus you can check and change
your phone’s settings.
Most of the menu functions are provided with a brief help text.
To view the help text, scroll to the desired menu function and wait
for 10 seconds.
Once the text appears, press More (or or ) if you want
to scroll the text manually. Pressing Back exits from the text.
Accessing the menu functions
To access a given menu function scroll through the menus with the
keys until you reach the desired menu or enter the menu with its
shortcut number.
By scrolling
1 To enter the menu facility, press Menu in the standby
mode.
2 At the main menu level, press or to reach the desired
menu, such as Settings, and press Select to enter it.
The menu number and sliding bar on the right side of the display
shows the menu’s position in respect to other menus at the same
menu level.
3 If the menu contains submenus (such as Phone settings),
reach the one you want with or and press
Select.
If the submenu contains a further set of submenus, repeat this
step.
