9 FM Radio (Menu 9)
Your phone is equipped with an FM radio
receiver.
Remember! Your phone must be switched on to
use this function. Do not switch on the phone when wireless phone
use is prohibited or when it may cause interference or danger.
You can use the radio with a headset HDC-9. Connect the headset
to a connector on the bottom of the phone.
The radio is not available when there is an incoming or outgoing
call. The FM radio indicator appears on the top of the display when
the radio is on. The FM indicator blinks when the radio function is
interrupted.
Note: the quality of the radio broadcast depends on the radio
station’s coverage in that particular area.
Note: the submenu structure varies depenging on whether the radio
is turned on (for the first time) and whether the radio station names
are saved in the memory.
Note: If the headset is not connected to the phone, a message
Please connect headset appears on the display.
Search (Menu 9 1/Menu 9 2)
When you use the radio for the first time or no radio stations have
been saved in the memory, you can search for a station with
Select.
If you press and hold or key, the radio starts automatically
search for the available radio stations. If you press the or
keys shortly, you can search for the radio stations manually. The
search is automatically stopped if the radio is tuned into a radio
station. You can either accept it or keep on searching by pressing
and holding the or keys.
