Step 2. It will be necessary to register the CLM instance with ASLM. This can be
performed by your Nokia sales representative and they will need to know
the UUID and the CSR of the CLM instance.
Step 3. Once a purchase order is processed that includes FP4 upgrade licenses,
then the Nokia sales team shall provide a commercial license pool file
generated by ASLM for the specific CLM instance.
Step 4. Install the license pool file in the CLM.
Step 5. Verify that the upgrades purchased are available in the CLM.
Step 6. Follow these steps to install the upgrades on the router.
i. Define the SR node instance using the chassis serial number; for
example, "NS090270871".
ii. Allocate the upgrades to the node instance.
iii. Activate the set of upgrades to the node.
This downloads a license file to the node, updates the BOF setting, and
validates and activates the license file.
