How to recalibrate incline on NordicTrack T 5.7?
    • L
      Lance Todd PhDJul 31, 2025
To recalibrate the incline on your NordicTrack Treadmill, hold down the Stop button and the Speed increase button, insert the key into the console, and then release the Stop button and the Speed increase button. Press the Stop button and then press the Incline increase or decrease button. The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level. This will recalibrate the incline system. If the incline does not begin calibrating, press the Stop button again, and then press the Incline increase or decrease button again.

If your NordicTrack Treadmill shuts off while you're using it, check the power switch to see if it has tripped; if so, wait five minutes, then press it back in. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Also, try removing and reinserting the key from the console. If the treadmill still won’t run, please see the front cover of this manual.

Why does the NordicTrack T 5.7 walking belt slow down when I walk on it?
    • K
      Kevin JacksonAug 11, 2025
If the walking belt on your NordicTrack Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, make sure you are using a surge suppressor that meets all requirements. If the walking belt is overtightened, remove the key and unplug the power cord, then use the hex key to turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. Note that your treadmill features a walking belt coated with high-performance lubricant. Never apply silicone spray or other substances to the walking belt or the walking platform unless instructed to do so by an authorized service representative. If the walking belt still slows when walked on, see the front cover of this manual.

Why do the console displays stay on when I remove the key from my NordicTrack T 5.7?
    • J
      Julie KingAug 18, 2025
The console on your NordicTrack Treadmill may be in display demo mode. If the displays remain lit after removing the key, the demo mode is likely activated. To turn it off, hold down the Stop button for a few seconds. If the displays are still lit, see THE INFORMATION MODE on page 21 to turn off the demo mode.

What to do if NordicTrack Treadmill walking belt is off-center or slips?
    • X
      xbartonAug 25, 2025
If the walking belt on your NordicTrack Treadmill is off-center, remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt has shifted to the left, use the hex key to turn the left idler roller screw clockwise 1/2 of a turn; if it has shifted to the right, turn the left idler roller screw counterclockwise 1/2 of a turn. If the walking belt slips when walked on, first remove the key and unplug the power cord, then use the hex key to turn both idler roller screws clockwise 1/4 of a turn.
