WARNING: Once a disposable item, i.e., lancet, test
strip, alcohol swab, etc., has been used, it is consid-
ered contaminated. Dispose of all contaminated mate-
rials in accordance with local regulations. Equipment
such as lancets and tissues must be used only once
and then disposed of even when repeated measure-
ments are being made on the same subject.
