• A coin-size battery provides power to operate the
meter. The battery provides sufcient power to
operate for approximately 600 tests. A low-battery
warning on the meter display alerts the operator to
change the battery. An auto sleep feature conserves
power when the meter is not in use.
Meter Sleep/Wakeup
The LCD display is turned off to conserve battery power
(sleep mode) after one minute of no activity. Keep-awake
activities includes:
• Pressing a button
• Inserting a test strip
