Good Laboratory Practice principles suggest that external
controls must be run whenever the laboratory director has any
question about the test system integrity or operator technique.
This section describes how to run QC (Quality Control),
Linearity Solution, Prociency Solution, and blood samples.
1. Insert a test strip into the meter. All segments of the
screen will display for 2 seconds. Then a ashing blood
drop will display.
