Cleaning / Checking the Irrigation Nozzle

Prepare cleaning solution in the cleaning tank under the
following conditions (prepare the cleaning solution according to
the instructions of the detergent manufacturer).
Temperature Water quality Detergent
45°C
Distilled water
Deionized water
Demineralized
water
Neutral enzymatic
detergent for medical
purposes (pH 7.0 - 8.0)
* Detergent used for validation:
neodisher MediZym (DR. WEIGERT)

With the product immersed in the cleaning tank, pull the syringe
plunger to suck and discharge the cleaning solution. Perform
this step 5 times to retain the cleaning solution inside the
product.
Immerse the product in the cleaning tank for 20 - 30 min.

Push and pull the syringe plunger to discharge the cleaning
solution remaining in the product.

Thoroughly rinse the dirt released in immersion as well as the
detergent under running tap water.
≤ 38°C, ≥ 3.5 L/min, ≥ 10 sec.
Water quality: Drinking water

Put distilled, deionized or demineralized water into the syringe,
screw the syringe into the product, and discharge water from
the product tip.
Perform this step 5 times.

Remove the Cleaning Tube 1.5/L25 and the Cleaning Adaptor IN
from the Irrigation Nozzle.

Rinse the product surface with distilled, deionized or
demineralized water.
_ Drying

Remove moisture inside and on the surface of the product using
a dry cloth, air gun, etc.

Visually check that all contamination is removed.
In case there is residual contamination, repeat the procedures
of Pre-cleaning through Drying until all contamination is
removed.
Proceed to Checking (see “9 – 2 Checking”).
