Supported Synchronization Methods
TheGraphicstoSDIpageprovidestwomethodsforsynchronizingtheSDIoutputtoa
commonsyncsource—pixelaccurateorframeaccuratesynchronization.
PixelaccuratesynchronizationsynchronizesthepixelscanningoftheSDIoutputto
thehousesyncsignal.Whenusingpixelaccuratesynchronization,theSDIrefreshrate
isdeterminedby
thesyncsignal.
FrameaccuratesynchronizationsynchronizestheframerateoftheSDIoutputtothe
housesyncsignal.ThesyncsignaldeterminestheavailableSDIsignalformats.
Supported Synchronization Signals
TheNVIDIAdriversupportsthefollowingexternalsynchronizationsignaltypes:

Connecting to an External Synchronization Source
Touseanexternalsyncsource:
1 ConnectthesyncsignaltotheINPUTBNCconnector.
Youcanconnectmultiplesystemstothesamehousesyncbydaisychainingthehouse
synccabletoeachcardusingBNCTconnectors.
2 FollowtheinstructionsinBasicSDISetupforsettingupyour
SDIsystemtousethe
externalsyncsignal.
Thedriverwillnotdetectavalidsyncsignaluntilthecorrectsignaltypeisconfigured
intheNVIDIAControlPanel.
