MASTER CODE OPERATIONS
Allows the lock to be opened or closed using the maintenance app Master Code
feature
• NOTE: using the master code with the app or with the touch keypad has the
same effect on the OCS SMART, except that using the maintenance app is
more secure
• EXAMPLE: The staff could open the lock using the master code with the
touch keypad, but a patron of the facility could possibly see the code. If you
are using the maintenance app the master code is stored in the app, and by
simply tapping the lock symbol on the smart device it will open the lock
without displaying any master code on the screen.
On entering the menu, a list of available locks is displayed.
If a lock is opened using the master code and closed again using the master code, the
lock keeps the user code that was used to close it previously.
