File Naming Rules 1 to 4
This parameter species the naming rules for the TIFF data les stored in the PDC
box. The following settings are available for the naming rules 1 to 4.

Not Specied File naming rules are not used.
Date and Time Created Uses the date and time of the data creation for the le
names.
File Name Uses the le name of the print data for the le names. Set the
host character encoding parameter to an option dierent
from Not Specied when using naming rules parameter
with a method other than the printer driver connection.
User Name Uses the login name of the user logged in the host
computer when the print data was sent for the le names.
Host Name Uses the name of the host computer from which the data
was sent for the le names.

With the following naming rules setting,
File naming rule 1: Host name
File naming rule 2: User name
File naming rule 3: File name
File naming rule 4: Date and time created
if print data is created under the le name sample.tif on December 23, 2010, at
12:34:56 p.m. by a user logged into a computer named HOST, a TIFF le with the
following name is created in the PDC box.

Page number

The page number is added at the end of the le name. When a le contains several
drawings, the page number appears as _1, _2, _3, etc.
