User authentication

Overview of No Authentication Print Job Settings
When user authentication is used in print mode, printing is possible only with the
four methods below.
- Printing from the printer driver
- Printing from a MAC driver
- Printing from an HDI driver
- Printing from TerioStation2
Print jobs sent from work stations or environments other than those mentioned
above are all deleted.
By conguring the No Authentication Print Job Settings, you can, for example:
- use print authentication for jobs output from the printer driver, and
- do not use authentication for jobs output from a work station.
When not using authentication, you may decide between printing jobs
immediately (Print immediately) and storing jobs to print them later (Store in the
Printer).

No Authentication Print Job Settings (Disabling Authentication from
Specied Computers)
You can congure the settings so that user authentication is not used only for print
jobs sent from specied host computers.
The computers are specied with their IP addresses.
You can specify up to three computer IP addresses.
