Commands Supported by lpd
Up to 10 users can be connected at the same time with lpr, lpq, and lprm.
Command Function
lpr Copies a le from the computer to the Printer.
lpq Outputs the Printer's spool data status to the computer.
lprm Deletes an unprocessed le already transferred to the Printer.
Up to 10 users can be connected in 3 protocols: ftp (for data transfer), lpr (lpq,
lprm), and xpt.
xpt (socket I/F)
With LP-1040 xpt, data from up to 10 users can be transferred.
