try to drive away with the parking brake on, the brake
light stays on and a chime sounds until you release the
parking brake or recycle the ignition.
If
you have the
electronic cluster, the chime can be turned
off
by
pressing RESET, but the
PARKING
BRAKE
SET
message will remain.
NOTICE:
Driving with the parking brake on can cause
your rear brakes to overheat. You may have to
replace them, and you could also damage other
parts
of
your vehicle.
