Programmable Printer Features
Factory Settings
When you receive the printer, its basic operating parameters
already have pre-defined factory settings (default settings for
PCL III + emulation). These are the settings which appeared
in the print test the very first time you ran it (see figure on
page XI).
The default settings for each emulation are indicated in bold
in the parameter tables and can be restored by clicking on
Default in the main window of the set-up utility.
Once you have selected your emulation, remember to
check that it is compatible with your application driver,
otherwise your printer will not operate correctly.
