Functions Available on the Telephone

DECT 5000
Handset Name
If necessary, you can assign your handset an individual name (e�g� Parent or LivingRoom)�
The name of the handset appears in the handset display when the handset is in Standby
mode�
1 Navigate to the HS SETTINGS è HS NAME menu�
2 Conrm by pressing the key�
3 Use the keypad to enter the required name for the handset�
4 Conrm by pressing the key�
Automatic Answering
You can activate the automatic answer function so that all incoming calls are taken when the
handset is removed from its base station:
1 Navigate to the HS SETTINGS è AUTO ANSWER menu�
2 Conrm by pressing the key�
3 Select the required setting using the Navigation keys�
4 Conrm by pressing the key�
Contrast
You can adjust the display contrast setting to suit your individual needs:
1 Navigate to the HS SETTINGS è CONTRAST menu�
2 Conrm by pressing the key�
3 Select the required setting using the Navigation keys�
