Functions Available on the Telephone
During a Call
Your handset is provided with functions which can only be used when a call is in progress�
Muting the Microphone
You can deactivate the microphone while a call is in progress� This means that you can still
hear the caller but the caller cannot hear you:
1 While a call is in progress, press the key to switch off the microphone�
2 Press the key again to switch the microphone back on�
Handsfree Function
You can switch the Handsfree function on so that other people in the room can hear the call
too:
1 While a call is in progress, press the key to switch the Handsfree function on�
2 Press the key again to switch the Handsfree function off�
Adjusting the Volume
You can adjust the volume of the caller during a call:
1 You can adjust the volume by using the navigation keys and �
The volume levels are indicated in the handset display by the corresponding
numbers� During normal operation, choose between levels 1-5, when using the
Handsfree function choose between levels 1-6�
Volume Boost
You can use the volume boost to increase the volume of the caller even more (+15 dB) at the
press of a key�
1 Press the key once�
When the call is ended, the volume boost is automatically switched off�
