Functions Available on the Telephone

Flash Time
If you use the handset within a private branch exchange, you can use the key to activate
functions such as forwarding calls and automatic callback� You then need to set the appropri-
ate ash time:
1 Navigate to the BS SETTINGS è FLASH TIME menu�
2 Conrm by pressing the key�
3 Select the required setting using the Navigation keys�
4 Conrm by pressing the key�
Further information is available in the operating manual supplied with the private branch
exchange�
Barring Calls
If necessary, you can bar up to four phone numbers or access codes for outgoing calls� This
means that the handset cannot be used to dial the phone numbers or access codes which
have been barred�
1 Navigate to the HS SETTINGS è BARRING menu�
2 Conrm by pressing the key�
3 Use the keypad to enter the PIN�
4 Conrm by pressing the key�
5 Use the Navigation keys to set call barring to ON�
6 Conrm by pressing the key�
7 Use the navigation keys to select a memory location�
8 Conrm by pressing the key�
9 Use the keypad to enter the rst four digits of the phone number or access code to be
barred�
10 Conrm by pressing the key�
