SETTING UP THE BASE UNIT
Registering Sensors
You can register up to 32 sensors on the alarm system
base unit.
1 Select the Register menu option.
2 &RQȴUPE\SUHVVLQJ. Search… appears in the
display.
3 Trigger the sensor to be registered.
The way to trigger the individual sensors is ex-
plained in the Sensors for the Protect Series oper-
ating manual. This manual is enclosed with the
base unit.
4 The display shows the name of the active sensor e.g.
Remote Key.
5 &RQȴUPE\SUHVVLQJ. Voice Record appears
in the display. You can either use the standard mes-
sage or record an individual voice message.
In the following descriptions, you can use either an indi-
vidually recorded voice message or standard message
for the registered sensor. The individually recorded voice

time.
When the corresponding sensor is triggered, the related
voice message is played over the loudspeaker of the base
unit.
6 Press if you want to retain the standard mes-
sage of the registered sensor.
7 Press to record an individual voice message.
