3. Hold the pull-tab of the single use adapter biopsy valve (MAJ-1414) and pull
it as shown in Figure 7.15 below to break it and discard it.

4. When using the single-use biopsy valve (MAJ-210), remove it as shown in
Figure 7.16 below and discard it.
When using the biopsy valve (MD-495), remove it and place it in a container
with detergent solution. Clean, disinfect or sterilize the items according to
the instructions given in Section 7.9, “Cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization
procedures for reusable parts and cleaning equipment”.
