Intended Use
The BTX III X-ray diffraction analyzer is a benchtop system designed primarily for analyzing a variety
of powder sample types. Phase identification is obtained by comparing the diffraction signature of a
sample with a database of XRD mineral patterns.
Do not use the BTX III analyzer for any purpose other than its intended use.
Instruction Manual
Before using the BTX III analyzer, thoroughly review the BTX III User’s Manual (P/N: 10-015490-01EN).
Use the product as instructed. The User’s Manual contains essential information on how to use this
Olympus product safely and effectively. Keep the User’s Manual in a safe, accessible location.
