Using the Zoom Lever
This section explains how to use the zoom.You have a choice between WIDE (wide-angle) and TELE (telephoto).
While looking into the viewfinder, move the zoom lever.
Moving the zoom lever towards the "T" zooms in on the subject,
whereas moving it towards the "W", draws away from the subject.
Determine the composition, then press the shutter release but-
ton down halfway.
This locks the focus. The green lamp inside the viewfinder will light
up to indicate the camera is ready to take the picture.
Press the shutter release button down all the way.
The green lamp will be off to indicate the picture has been taken.

Using the Zoom Effectively
Zooming changes the focal point by moving the lens crystals. The Camedia C-2500L mounts an optical 3x magnification zoom
lens. Moving the zoom lever moves the lens crystals and changes the focal point.
• TELE
Picture angle is narrower and the subject comes out bigger than usual.
• WIDE
Picture angle is wider and the subject comes out smaller than usual.
