Chapter 7
Erasing pictures
Recorded pictures can also be erased. This can be done either one frame at
a time or to all the pictures in the card.

Select a picture you wish to erase by
using the arrow pad.
If the picture is protected, cancel the
protection first (P. 136).

Press the (erase) button.
The ERASE screen is displayed.

Press Ñ to select YES.

Press to erase the picture.
To cancel erasing, select NO in step 3 and
press , or press the button again.
This function only erases the picture displayed on the monitor. Erasing further
pictures must be done one-by-one if using this function.

ERASE screen
It is not possible to erase protected pictures or pictures stored on a card
that has a write-protect seal.
Once erased, pictures cannot be restored.
