In the top menu, select MODE MENU T CAMERA T P/A/S/M T A.

To increase the
aperture value (F
value), press
Ñ.
To decrease the aperture
value (F value), press
ñ.
If the aperture value is displayed in red
The aperture you have set is unsuitable for the conditions.
appears. T Press ñ to decrease the aperture value.
appears. T Press Ñ to increase the aperture value.
Green:
The aperture setting will provide
optimum exposure.
Red:
The aperture setting is unsuitable for
optimum exposure.
Zoom position Value
Wide (W) f2.8*, f3.4, f4.0, f4.8, f5.6, f8.0
Tele (T) f4.8*, f5.6, f8.0
When the flash is set to the auto-flash mode, the shutter speed is fixed at
1/30 sec. in the maximum wide-angle, or 1/100 sec. in the maximum
telephoto, and can never go slower.
*Open-aperture (the widest aperture setting) depends on the zoom
position.
