LOADING THE BATTERIES

This camera uses four AA nickel metal hydride batteries, AA
lithium batteries, AA alkaline batteries or AA NiCd batteries.
Do not use manganese batteries; they may overheat and
destroy the camera.
● Read “BATTERY HANDLING” on page 28.
1 Slide open the battery compartment cover.
2 Insert the new batteries correctly as shown and close the
battery compartment cover tightly.
3 Slide the cover closed, pressing . Do not push the
edge of the cover.
◆ Make sure that the lens barrier is closed and the
power is off before loading the batteries.
