Taking pictures using the LCD monitor
Pictures that appear on the LCD monitor are for
composition purposes only. If you need to know
focus or exposure, check your computer’s
display.
It is recommended to use the optical viewfinder
for less camera movement and battery
consumption.
When the subject is viewed diagonally in the
camera, the edges may appear zigzagged on the
LCD monitor. This is not a malfunction; it will be
less noticeable in the Record mode.
When a picture is taken in a lighted area, such as
in sunlight, vertical lines may appear on the LCD
monitor. This is not a malfunction.
