7.2 Cautions after use
7.2.1 Storing the objective
Store the unused objectives in the objective lens case DSX10-LC or the commercially-available case. If the dust/dirt is
attached to portion where the lens attachment and the zoom head are connected, the failure may be caused.
You can store the objectives keeping them attached to the lens attachment in the objective lens case DSX10-LC.
NOTE
l The objective lens case DSX10-LC is used only for storing the objectives. Do not use it for transportation.
l Store the objectives in the temperature range of 0 to 40 without drastic temperature fluctuation (10 °C/h
or more).
7.2.2 Storing DSX1000
Store this product in the temperature range of 0 to 40
Store this product in the environment without drastic temperature fluctuation (10 °C/h or more).
When the tilting frame DSX10-TF is combined, return the zoom head to the upright position before storing it. Otherwise,
the product may be damaged. For the operation method, see "3.6 Tilting observation" in Operation manual.
7.3 Lifetime
The lifetime of this product is approximately 5 years after purchase if the product is used properly according to this
instruction manual. (except consumables)
7.4 Replacement of the lens attachment
TIP
If the clicking of the lens attachment becomes weak, contact Olympus for assistance.
Guide for replacement: Approx. 3 to 5 years from the start of use.
