8.2 Detachment/attachment of transport locks of microscope frame
l If you rotate the focusing knob without detaching the transport locks, the product could be damaged. Be
sure to detach them.
l As the transport locks will be used for transporting the system next time, keep them in a safe place.
Detaching the transport locks
Detach the front clamping screws (2 positions) using the Allen screwdriver provided with the zoom head.
Detach the back clamping screw (1 position) using the Allen screwdriver provided with the zoom head.
Detach the transport locks .
Attaching the transport locks
Rotate the focusing knob to lower the stage mount to the lowest position.
Place the transport lock aligning with the screw hole of the microscope frame.
Tighten the back clamping screw (1 position) using the Allen screwdriver provided with the zoom head.
Rotate the focusing knob to raise the stage mount. While pushing it to the transport lock lightly, tighten the
front clamping screws (2 position) using the Allen screwdriver provided with the zoom head.
