Menu functions (Video menu)

Frame rate Sets the frame rate to [60p], [50p], [30p], [25p], or [24p].
[60p] and [50p] are not available in the following situations.
- When [FHD] (Full HD) is set for the image size and [A-I] (All
Intra) is set for the bit rate.
- When [C4K] or [4K] is set for the image size.
If the image size is set to [C4K], the frame rate is locked to 24p.
Shooting time Sets the shooting time to [8 sec], [4 sec], [2 sec], [1 sec], or [Off]
(Custom only).
The shooting time can only be set for Clips and Custom settings.
When [C4K] is set for the image size, the shooting time is
locked to [Off].
Slow or Fast Motion Sets slow or fast motion.
Available settings differ depending on the set frame rate.
Slow and fast motions cannot be used in some image quality
modes.
Setting the sound recording for movie ( Movie K)
Con gure the sound recording settings for movie recording.

Select [Movie K] in n Video Menu and press the Q button.

Select [On] and press I.

Use FG to select the item and press I.
• Use FG to select the setting and press the Q button.
Recording Volume Adjust microphone sensitivity for the built-in microphone and for
optional external microphones.
Adjust the sensitivity using FG while checking the peak sound
level picked up by the microphone over the previous few seconds.
K Volume Limiter
If set to [On], the volume is automatically regulated when the
volume picked up by the microphone is louder than normal.
Wind Noise
Reduction
Reduce wind noise during recording.
K Plug-in Power
Set to [On] for distributing power to the microphone, and [Off]
for using a professional microphone, etc, which does not require
power distribution from the camera.
PCM Recorder K Link
Set to [On] for using an IC recorder connected to the microphone
jack as a microphone. g “Recording movie audio with an IC
recorder” (P. 104)
Headphone Volume Set the volume for the connected headphone.
Operation sounds of the lens and camera may be recorded in a movie. To prevent it from
recording, reduce the operation sounds by setting [AF Mode] to [S-AF] or [MF], or by
minimizing the button operations of the camera.
Sound cannot be recorded in k (Diorama) mode.
• When [Movie K] is set to [Off], O is displayed.
