Inserting the card
The following types of SD memory card (commercially available) can be used with this
camera: SD, SDHC, SDXC, and Eye-Fi.
Eye-Fi Cards
Read “Usable cards” (P. 132) before use.

Loading the card.
• Open the card slot cover.
• Slide the card in until it is locked into place.

Cautions
• Turn off the camera before loading or removing the battery or card.
• Do not forcibly insert a damaged or deformed card. Doing so may damage the card
slot.

Closing the card slot cover.
• Close fi rmly until you hear a click.
Cautions
• Be sure the card slot cover is closed before using the camera.
Removing the card
Press the inserted card lightly and it will be ejected. Pull
out the card.
Cautions
• Do not remove the battery or card while the card
write indicator (P. 19 ) is displayed.
