the
exposure

dex
marks

the
meter

wish

select a
shutter
speed
(e
.g.,
to
stop
fast
action,
eliminate
camera shake,
etc.),
turn
the
shut-
ter
speed
ring
until
the
desired speed
is
opposite
the
red
reference
dot
on
the
lens
barrel
(see page 121.

Look
through
the
viewfinder
a
nd
turn
the
aperture
ring
until
the
needle
lines
up
in
the
center
of
the
index.
For
fine
exposure
adjustment
you
can use
any
intermediate
F
stop
position.
CAUTION:
In case
of
hand
-
held
photography
with
a
stand
-
ard lens, a
shutter
speed faster
than
1/
60
sec.
is
recommend
-
ed
to
eliminate
the
possibility
of
camera
movement
.

stop
(e.g
.,
to
control
depth
of
field)

:
CD
Turn
the
aperture
ring
until
the
desired
F
stop
is
opposite
the
white
index
mark
.
®
Look
through
the
viewfinder
and
rotate
the
shutter
speed
ring
until
the
needle
lin
es
up
as
close
as
possible
to
the
center
of
the
index
.
Make
sure
that
the
shutter
speed
ring
is
clicked
into
posi-
tion
and
not
in
between
two
setti
ngs.
®
Make
the
final
exposure
adjustment
by
turning
the
aper-
ture
ring
until
the
needle aligns
exactly
in
the
center
of
the
index
.
CAUTION
:
Make
sure
that
the
shutter
speed
thus
obtained
should
meet
the
other
photographic
conditions
properly
,
especially
at
"S"
where
the
shutter
speed ring
is
not
coupled
with
the
exposure
meter
.
