MOUNTING THE LENS
Mount
the
Lens.
Turn
the
lens
clockwise
until
the lens release
button
springs
up
and
you
will
hear a
positive
"
click"
.
CAUTION:
Do
not
apply
pressure
to
the
lens
release
but·
ton
during
the
mounting
procedure
to
assure
proper
coupl
·
ing
between
the
lens
and
the
meter
.
Lens Removal
To
detach
the
lens, press
down
on
the
lens release
button
and
turn
the
lens
counter
·
clockwise
.
CAUT
ION:
Always
attach
the
front
and
rear
lens
caps
when
the
lens
is
removed
from
the
body
to
prevent
any
possibility
of
damage
.

INSERTING THE
BATTERIES
Insert
two
1.
5V
silver
oxide
batteries
[Eveready
or
(UCAR)
S·76,
EPX-76
or
equivalents]
into
the
battery
chamber.
CAUTION
:
Batteries
should
be
always
replacec;:l
by
twos
.
These
batteries
are
used
as a
power
source
for
the
built
·
in
exposure
meter
(MANU
AL)
and
the
automatic
exposure
control
(AUTO)
.
If
battery
polarity
is
i
ncorrect
,
the
camera
does
not
function
.
