The
red
lamp
flickers
to
indicate
that
correct
flash-
exposure
has
been
made
.
If
the
lamp
stays
lighted:

Correct
exposure
has
been
made
requiring
no
flash light.
If
the
lamp
does
not
flicker,
but
instead
goes
out
:
-+
The
flash-to-subject
distance
is
beyond
the
TTL
AUTO
range.
Open
up
the
lens
stop
or
move
in
closer
to
the
subject
.

When
exposure
must
be
achieved
with
flash
Focus
on
the
subject
and
make
sure
the
meter
needle
points
to
a
shutter
speed
slower
than
1/30
sec. I f
the
shutter
speed
is
faster
than
1/30
sec.,
turn
the
aperture
ring tOo a larger
f-number
(a
smaller
lens
opening).
NOTE:
The
a M-2
incorporates
an
incorrect
flash
prevention
system.
If
the
shutter
speed
is
faster
than
the
flash
synchro·
nizing range,
the
electronic
flash will
not
fire
when
you
press
th
e
shutter
release
button
.
