CJ-series EtherNet/IP Units Operation Manual for NJ-series CPU Unit (W495)
 CPU Unit and CJ-series Units
A unit version label is included with the Unit. You can attach the label to the front of the Unit to differ-
entiate it from previous EtherNet/IP Units.
In this manual, unit versions are specified as shown in the following table.
Note The unit version of the EtherNet/IP Unit is sometimes called the revision (“Rev.”) on the Support Software.
There are also places in this manual where the unit version of the EtherNet/IP Unit is called the revision
(“Rev.”).
The following table gives the CIP revision that is supported by the unit version of the EtherNet/IP Unit.

The following versions of the Sysmac Studio and Network Configuration are required to set the Ether-
Net/IP Unit.

The following table gives the CPU Units to which you can connect the EtherNet/IP Unit according to the
unit version of the EtherNet/IP Unit.
* Connect to a CPU Unit with unit version 1.01 or later and use Sysmac Studio version 1.02 or higher.
