  To improve the EKG recording quality on your Omron Personal Care Products device, consider the following: * Ensure that the Enhanced Filter is on. * Clean the electrodes with an alcohol-based sanitizer. * If your hands are very dry, apply a water-based lotion before recording. * Relax your arms and hands to reduce muscle noise by resting them on a flat surface. * Ensure your smartphone is not charging or syncing and that you are not using headphones during the recording. * Keep both the smartphone and yourself still during EKG recordings, as movement can cause noise. * Make sure the Mains Filter is set appropriately for your geographical location in the Phone app Settings.

  The large spikes at the start of your Omron Personal Care Products recording are due to noise/artifact when the Enhanced Filter is looking for your heartbeat. This is rare and lasts only until your first heartbeat is detected in the Phone app, and it does not affect the rest of your recording.

Why does the PDF Report look slightly different on the Web and in my Omron Complete Personal Care Products App?

  There is a 2.5 millisecond difference in where the PDF starts for the Web Application and the Mobile Application. There is no difference in the recording and it will not impact how your EKG is interpreted.
