Alphanumeric Character String (CHR) Settings
Use the Up/Down keys to scroll through the alphanumeric characters.
The selected character can be positioned to the left of the message using the
left cursor key while the same character can be positioned to the right of the
message using the right cursor key.

When the CPU displays the LCD screen, the operating keys can be used for
bit testing operations:
