4.3.12. Voiding Items and Sets/Transaction
The void function allows the operator to mark a scanned item or set as invalid
by placing a VOID stamp over the item’s image(s). The void function can be
used to confirm that an item or set was scanned into the system and deemed
invalid.
Note: The Void buttons will only be present if activated in the batch
parameters.
To mark an item as void, highlight the item’s thumbnail, and click
Action . The
Action window will appear (see Figure 4-49).

Press
Void Item to void only the selected item, or Void Set/Transaction to
void the selected item and all other items that are part of the set. The Cancel
button is used to close the Action window without performing any functions.
If the Allow Void Batch parameter is set to Yes with Marked Image, the VOID stamp
will appear over the image and the item will be designated as void in the batch
file (see Figure 4-50).
