CAUTION!
Danger by crushing. The compound slide is very heavy!
£ Re-insert the compound slide from
the back into the guiding.
£ Make sure that the guiding is free
from dirt.
£ Crank the slide with the handwheel
into its normal position.

£ Push the ball bearing (part 12) into
the housing (part 9).
£ Remove the crest which eventually
had been formed due to the opera-
tion with an abrasive cloth.

£ Plug the housing (part 9) from the
backside onto the shaft extension
(part 11).
£ Aline at a rectangle to the engine
bed.
£ Mark out the holes for the fixture of
the housing with a pen.
