CONNECTING THE RECEIVER
TO POWER
Carefully check all connections. Then, plug the
receiver’s power cord into an AC outlet. The
power cord’s plug is polarized and fits only one
way.
Warning: To prevent electric shock, do not use
an extension cord or other receptacle unless the
plug’s blades can be fully and easily inserted.
USING THE RECEIVER’S
AC POWER OUTLET
The receiver’s unswitched AC power outlet
provides power even when the receiver is
turned off. This lets you use the outlet for an ap¬
pliance that needs continuous power, such as a
VCR or clock.
This outlet provides a maximum output of 100
watts.
